Introducing the ENTICING project to the school community – The Multiplier Event in Cyprus

ENTICING is a 2-year Erasmus + project, which aims to blend the benefits of Crowdsourcing with the need to upgrade the levels of digital readiness of secondary school teachers in humanities. The project seeks to empower teachers with competences and tools that will improve the quality of their teaching and at the same time will render them ready to respond quickly in circumstances of crisis.

As the project is ending, CARDET, the partner – organization from Cyprus, organised a multiplier event to disseminate the high quality results, produced during the last two years. The event was held face to face at the Ayios Dometios High School on April 27, 2023 with the participation of 23 secondary school teachers.

The participants were first introduced to the ENTICING project, its main aim, objectives and results. The main focus was given on the e-Learning platform, which hosts the two main outputs of the project: a self-paced Digital Humanities Crowdsourcing Course Curriculum with 10 modules and an Online Repository with 70 examples of crowdsourcing initiatives all around Europe and USA.

The material received positive feedback, with participants expressing their willingness to use it in their daily teaching practices.
